If you want to walk the 1.8km distance there is a fee, but if you get there early before 8am or later in the evening after 6pm - no charge
(there's also the Jetty Train - you can catch a ride)
and don't forget to check out Underwater Observatory while you're in the area

Great place to visit for swimming combined with picnic there's trees and grass down to the beach sand and water's edge. Super place for snorkeling and there's kayak hire too
If you're lucky enough to be in the area during the full moon stage, check it out - I'm sure you wont be disappointed. There's also a walk from here into old Dunsborough - lovely
