Um lugar histórico e considerado um local onde há uma verdadeira união entre história e modernidade porque além da beleza desta antiga quinta e dos seus jardins, pelo palacete que integra uma capela também lá encontrar à Oficina de Artes do Manuel Cargaleiro e o restaurante "Tapas ão Rio" com um bom ambiente e atendimento.
A historical place and considered a place where there is a true union between history and modernity because besides the beauty of this old farmhouse and its gardens, by the palace that integrates a chapel there is also the Manuel Cargaleiro Art Workshop and the restaurant "Tapasao" Rio "with a good atmosphere and service.

If you're looking for a completely peaceful snd breathtaking place this is where I recommend you go. The views of Lisbon are incredible from the top of Almada across the Tejo river. Very serene and one of my favorite spots. Take the opportunity and go to the top of the Cristo Rei statue to take in the incredible natural beauty.

Facilmente chegar lá de car apenas 50min-1hr de viagem ou muito facilmente podem ir de transporte público que levará aproximadamente 1hr40.
Sintra and even as a city of a fairy book. With several castles and palaces to visit and huge gardens; It is a city that captivates to return again and explore. Easily get there by car only 50min-1hr trip or very easily can go by public transport which will take approximately 1hr40.

Top suggestion for anyone looking to enjoy the countries famous Pastéis de Belém. This is where they originated from and the hidden secret recipe is kept. There are many places that serve versions of these taste custard tarts but none like here. There are usually line ups but don't fear as often the line up out the doorway are for take out orders. My husband and I have figured out it is better to go inside and enjoy eating these lovely pastéis in one of the many rooms available inside... there is still a waiting area and a line up but it often moves fast.

Lisbon is such an incredible city and we are so close to it. Don't drive into the city just take the ferry across. My husband and I always choose this option if we plan to go into Lisbon. The cost for your Ferry ride from Seixal to Lisbon Cais do Sodré is 2.45€ and then you can choose to travel on the Metro from there throughout the city for 1.45€ a ride.
Depending on the length of your stay I suggest picking up a VIVA card available at the ticket kiosks and charge money to the card so you can travel with more ease using it as a prepaid or zapping card as they call it here in Portugal.

The views from the top of this structure are incredible but do expect long line ups to go up the historic elevator. But, there are so many great spots to catch a view of this incredible city from above that if you don't get to see it here you will be fine. The architecture of this large archway into one of the most popular streets in Lisbon is fabulous! If you want to have truely one of the best views I suggest taking a trip up to the top of the archway for only about 3€ per person it is breathtaking!

The history of this convento and how its stands today is incredible. My husband and I experienced a wonderful evening September 2019 in a show called Lisbon under the stars where we listened and viewed a light, music and video show explaining the history. Truely Incredible and suggest a must see.
