Offers a 3-mile gentle hike around the top, and spectacular views of the Bay Area. Also be sure to visit

Once you break out of the trees over Stinson Beach there is a small parking area, but you can also stop anywhere along the road. Take time to sit quietly and just be in the immense beauty of the hills and vast ocean before you. This location has been known to change lives, if you let it. There is a spirit in the mountain, and it will guide you if you listen quietly for long enough.

17 Pier[1 of Markus' TOP 10 Things to See and Do in the SF Bay Area] The largest hands on science museum in North America! You could easily spend two full days here and not see and do everything this science museum has to offer. There is also a completely-in-the-dark walk/crawl/climb through experience that is amazing, and very worth doing, called the Tactile Dome. That experience usually requires reservations in advance. Visit the Exploratorium website for more info.
