Kneaders has the best French toast. And if eaten inside dining, it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT. The French toast is garnished with fresh whip cream, fresh strawberries and their secret recipe syrup. The syrup is so good you can buy a bottle to take home! Lunch is delicious too with sandwiches and soups, and bread you can buy to take home. Pastry case is a delight to eyes and stomach. I recommend any of their tarts: the fruit tart, Raspberry fruit tart or key lime pie tart. Mmmmm 😋 You’ll want to get there before 11 am for breakfast. 2 miles away! https://goo.gl/maps/tvzPS91HfdqgER4eA Kneaders Bakery & Cafe 3450 N Eagle Rd, Meridian, ID 83646 (208) 884-4600

A Day in .... Idaho City..... https://www.idahocityhf.org/ is a fun day trip. It’s an old mining town and is less than an hour away, has a western feel, and takes you back to the gold rush days. There is a commercial hot spring up there (costs $) you can soak and cold rivers to soak your feet or swim. There’s a old town walk and museum in town. https://visitidaho.org/things-to-do/museums/boise-basin-museum/ It is small with big charm. You can buy ice cream at ‘Saspirillas’. If you like huckleberry ice cream, this is your place. Interested in gold panning? Before you buy a pan at the Mining store, see if they are still selling the gold pan with ice cream in it at ‘Sasapirillas’. https://www.facebook.com/sarsaparillaicecreamparlor/ We learned this the hard way. Several restaurants are there. The ‘Seasons’ restaurant is one of our favorites, good food. There are some hikes you can google. https://www.gaiagps.com/hike/city/united-states/idaho/idaho-city/. There’s a very large woodsy rustic cemetery in town and it is an interesting walk. It has mountainous terrain, meandering dirt paths, and early dates. I’ve never seen a cemetery like it. We love Idaho city.

Beautiful gorgeous historic homes on this street. Harrison Blvd is an iconic Boise street, generally bound by Hill Road to the north and W Hays Street to the southeast, has played an important role in the city throughout the last century. First, as a historic landmark worthy of preserving, and more recently as an important neighborhood and cultural anchor.
