Beautiful forests, nice hikes, and you can check out Berkeley/Oakland restaurants &c on the way there or back.
And, if you come at the right time of the year: HIBERNATING LADYBUGS. Google that and you will feel like going there :)

The whole inlet/peninsula is very pretty.
It's a beautiful place, and you can also check out Skyline Blvd and/or Half Moon Bay. Or do a Silicon Valley tour.
