I've lived in Edmonton for 7 years, this summer was my first time to Fort Edmonton Park. It was amazing! I couldn't believe how much there was to see and do. The staff was incredibly helpful, the grounds were clean and well kept!

The Ice Castles is an annual event in Winter. It’s a must go for visitors or residents. Visiting during sunset is supposed to be pretty to take great pictures. It’s important to say that is very cold inside the castles, so go dressed properly. Don't miss the slide!

Local secret! Located within a neighbourhood, these stairs give you an epic view of the river valley. Many people come here in the summer to hike, exercise and simply enjoy. Parking is on the street in the neighbourhood.

This is my favourite camp site style park within the city. I typically park here and go for runs throughout the miles and miles of river valley trails. During the weekends many families come here to have family gatherings and BBQ's.

This "island of conservation" is located 35 km east of Edmonton, Alberta along the Yellowhead Highway, which goes through the park.
