By far my favorite Mexican food in Asheville. You need to drive 10 minutes north to get there, but well worth it. The Banh Mi taco is my go-to dish; the crispy house cured pork belly is perfect every time.
There is ample parking when you get there.

Truly beautiful easy hike. Wide gravel road up a hill to a bald that has almost 360 view. Layer after layer of the Great Smoky mountains. Once at the top you will see what looks like a big house. It's actually a nature center. Go up, hang out on the deck and soak up the views. After, go to the back left-side of the house and go down a different side than you came up. On the way you will see a preserved, original settlers cabin. If you decide to do this hike, let us know and we will try to print off a map for you and leave it in the suite.
Good all year around. Loop. 3.8 miles roundtrip. 1 hour drive time each way.

If you decide to do this hike, let us know and we will try to print off a map for you and leave it in the suite.
