This family owned bakery has become one of the premier locations to get authentic Mediterranean cuisine. In additon to bread baked fresh daily, I grew up on their hummus and shwarma sandwiches. Never had a bad experience here.

This restaurat/ bar/ bookshop was recently rated one of the "coolest restaurants in the world" and is one of my favorites in town, even more than it's counter part Bida Manda which is located next door.
The soup dumplings, scallion pancakes with bone marrow, and steam buns are top choices. Can not go wrong with any of their beers all brewed in house.

Formerly a hospital campus, the city purchased the property and created a park. Wide open fields just on the edge of downtown allow scenic views of the skyline and a relaxed place to enjoy a picnic or explore the grounds on bike or walking.
