Rev Al Green's church. It'll be one of the best experiences in your entire life. Without a doubt in my mind, you will be lifted and in awe. It's incredible. I'll go with you if I have time. :-)

The Blues Hall of Fame is within the Blues Foundation's office. Just opened in May of 2015 and right across the street from the Civil Rights museum on South Main Street. (Downtown central bbq)

Always a favorite. "Dead Elvis week August is the best time to see. Ton's of "Elvi" all over the place performing, including on Beale Street. The memorials to Elvis on the date of his dead are great.
