Located in the Sunriver Resort lodge, Twisted River has a great happy hour and beautiful outdoor deck during the summer months. Gorgeous views of the golf course, river and Mt. Bachelor. You can also grab a bite, drink or dessert and just cozy up by the large fireplace in the main area upstairs. Family friendly. Fun gift shop downstairs as well!

A great outdoor shopping center in Bend, about 20 minutes from our house. Many restaurants, well known stores and some boutiques, beautiful river front trails.

Our local Sunriver grocery store; a full service store with deli and bakery, plus everything else you’d need! Prices are high, so we like to use Fred Meyer Clicklist to order our groceries online before we leave, then pick them up at the Bend Fred Meyer on our way in. The Sunriver store is great to pick up extras or forgotten items, and they have a red box for movie rentals.

It has large pools, water slides, a lazy river, a children’s splash area, huge grassy areas with chairs for sunbathing, a cafe with surprisingly good food plus beer and wine and outdoor seating, and an elaborate indoor pool area for the cooler months. There is also a tubing hill for winter time, and disc golf, plus an outdoor amphitheater that hosts live music and events in the summertime.
