The Salty Dawg is a must visit when in Homer! With it's iconic lighthouse and unique interior, it's always fun to grab a drink at the Salty Dawg. You will find many people also wind up getting a t-shirt of hoody with their logo on it.

Parks & Nature
Our family loves coming to Bishops Beach for various reasons. During the low tide you can do some tidepooling and see so many neat marine life creatures. Also, just simply walking down the beach and playing along the shoreline is so fun. On hot days our kids are known for jumping in the ocean and swimming around. I think it's still a bit cold but they love it!! I really like collecting shells from the beach. A great family go to for exploring.

Our family loves coming to Bishops Beach for various reasons. During the low tide you can do some tidepooling and see so many neat marine life creatures. Inua has the most beautiful Alaskan carvings and jewelry around!! This is a must go to if you want to get something truly Alaskan, beautiful and unique. The owners have relationships with native artists from remote parts of Alaska and are able to showcase these items for you to purchase. I love going in there and seeing what's new. There is definitely a gift to be found there.

The owners have relationships with native artists from remote parts of Alaska and are able to showcase these items for you to purchase. I love going in there and seeing what's new. There is definitely a gift to be found there.
Ulmers is my go to for finding some every day needs such as cards, pharmaceutical needs, fishing gear, boots, tools, housewares, gardening, arts & crafts, etc.
