Zmajevac is the hill above the Old Town - Baščaršija. Definitely one of the sightseeig what you have to see in Sarajevo, where you can drink coffee or juice. It is only half an hour up the hill, where you travel through some of the oldest Sarajevo mahala (residental quarters).

Vijećnica - City Hall, is located in the old part of Sarajevo. 25 August 1992 Serbian shelling during the Siege of Sarajevo caused the complete destruction of the library. After the years of restoration, the building was re-opened on May 9, 2014.

The White Fortress is an old fort overlooking the historic core of Sarajevo. It is a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bijela Tabija is a protruding part of the wall of what was historically known as the old Vratnik City, and dominates the Eastern, the natural entrance to Sarajevo. Distance is 10-15 minutes walk from Baščaršija.
