I use to love to go here because of the off the wall interior aesthetics. They also had a pretty fun 80s night dance party on Friday, and drunken spelling bee Monday nights. It's been a couple of years since I've been- I have a 1 year old so my nights consist of watching Disney movies on Netflix.

I don't like either whiskey or scotch but the drinks are amazing and the bartenders are dressed in prohibition era clothing. Limited seating. Get there early to get a seat

Parks & Nature
When I need some fresh air & exercise I grab a coffee and head to Southsdie riverfront trail- approximately 6 or so blocks south of my house. There is a marina, near the the Southside works and the bike trail runs east all the way to Washington D.C. Or west to downtown Pittsburgh. There is a riverfront park off of 18th street with a doggy park, lots of geese that beg for food, and a boat lunch. The trail runs right through it. Perfect for a stroll with the baby. Enjoy!

Southside Riverfront Park
When I need some fresh air & exercise I grab a coffee and head to Southsdie riverfront trail- approximately 6 or so blocks south of my house. There is a marina, near the the Southside works and the bike trail runs east all the way to Washington D.C. Or west to downtown Pittsburgh. There is a riverfront park off of 18th street with a doggy park, lots of geese that beg for food, and a boat lunch. The trail runs right through it. Perfect for a stroll with the baby. Enjoy!

Beautiful overlook for amazing views of the city. Take the Duquesne or Monoghalia inclines to the top of Mount Washington and eat at one of the restaurants on Grandview avenue. Such as Monteray Bay (seafood) or Tin Angel.

Gotta ride the incline to the top of Mount Washington. There are two inclines the Monoghalia and Duquesne. Great views and restaurants at the top. The Monoghalia is by the T-station and the Duquesne is past Market Square. Both on East Carson Street or over. It.

I love learning about history. "See you in Hell" is a great book about ruthless Steel tycoons Andrew Carnegie and Henry Clay Frick ( Frick Art & Historical Center). Learn a lot about the history of Pittsburgh as a Steel town in the early 1900's in this book
