This is also a nice street to go shopping and its close to 'de negen straatjes' which is also very good for shopping/eating/drinking

a lot of shops: mostly good brands and more expensive but definetely worth to take a look. Its called the '9' Streets because there are nine small streets with all the shops and restaurants.

Its a big building with a good view, you can take the ferry there from central station (which is also nice and for free) and then you are in the northern part of amsterdam which has a bit more Industrial sightseeing like art/paintings/markets/vintage shopping
