One of a kind block print artist with an incredible shop that is pretty famous. Gwen has passed on but the great work continues.

Gwen Frostic is a world renowned Michigan nature artist. The shop is a working print shop and nature preserve. You can purchase a variety of items such as note cards, calendars, napkins, etc. Gwen Frostic worked there well into her 90's but passed away in 2001. Open Mon-Sat 10-5.

Gwen Frostic was a writer and illustrator who fell in love with Northern Michigan. You can see the original printing presses and pick up some of her iconic stationary while visiting this handmade stone and live roof building.
