Up the hill on the right on the old road to Elbasan and more or less within walking distance of the city centre, this is upmarket Albanian dining at its best. The décor is mountain chic, with the waiters wandering around in traditional costumes ferrying plates and bowls piled high with classic local cuisine to die for. Complete with a sloped garden populated by a menagerie of animals the kids will love, if you can’t find the energy to visit for the single attraction, it’s worth mentioning that the recommended Martyrs’ Cemetery is a little bit further up the hill.
