Sobey’s grocery store is west up the hill from A&W. It is a 10 minute walk but it is up a hill. Walk another 5 minutes and you are in the downtown part of Invermere village with a variety of shops, another grocery store, restaurants, and other services such as bank and post office and liquor store. East up a longer hill, a 15 minute walk, you come to a commercial area with No Frills Grocery Store, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, Kicking Horse coffee and a couple of other restaurants and a liquor store. The tourist information center is located on highway #93/95 just south of Tim Horton’s.
