Award-winning fine dining restaurant in Dennistoun that opened last year. Set within an Edwardian townhouse, it has been expertly renovated and is a beautiful place to spend an evening – sophisticated but comfortable. The chefs are some of Scotland’s best, the menu is creative, artistic and very well devised. It’s quite expensive – up to £25 for a main course – but really feels like a treat.

The east end also boasts one of Glasgow's real few fine dining restaurants, tucked away inside a Victorian townhouse. Run by a local family, Bilson Eleven has to be one of the city's most unusual and truly unique eateries. And yes, while it is situated inside an old tenement and does not have outdoor areas, they do have a new summer menu that you need to try.

Fantastic food, intimate atmosphere - they only do eleven tables (for two) a night, so you have to book early.

One of the highest rated restaurants in Glasgow on Tripadvisor is just 5 mins walk away. It's high end dining in a newly restored townhouse and a great place for a special occasion. We loved the tasting menu
