For the history buff amongst you, how about a trip to the Governor's Mansion downtown before you visit the state's museums.
It is just a very interesting house and is near a street full of old Victorian style houses that are almost fairy tale like .
Unique 1880s mansion serves as home to the Governor. Generally not open to the public, but can be easily viewed from the street.
