We love this beach, it's usually not very crowded and has a beautiful little hike down to it.
One of the most beautiful beaches, but beware, the East end of the beach is nudist. Dangerous for swimming during high surf.
“Best place for a nice Morning stroll. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and usually not very crowded. Good place for seeing rainbows, so worth taking a stroll in the rain. ”
“Excellent fish selection, great local island vibe, reasonably priced. Good ahi poke. ”
“Now located in the Big Save shopping center parking lot~ Pat's serves up amazing taco's”
“Good place to get breakfast at the outdoor food court inside the Princeville Shoppping Center. Great food offerings, from bagels to poached eggs to Belgian waffles, and a variety of coffee drinks and espresso. Takes card and cash and you can walk to it from anywhere in the parking lot.”
“Is a slice of heaven where lush tropical jungle meets white sand beaches and turquoise waters. The popular and very recognizable Mount Makana (Bali Hai) looms mysteriously above Haena Beach and offers a spectacular backdrop for sunsets and photo opportunities. offers good swimming and snorkeling during calm conditions. This is a fun beach to explore and do a bit of beach-combing and great shell collecting. During the winter months the surf can be extremely large causing dangerous shore-break and strong currents. You can watch from shore as experienced water-men and women ride these awe inspiring giant waves.”
