Cerrillos Hills State Park
There are 1,100 years of mining history in these hills which can be seen by hiking, biking, or horseback riding on the 5 miles of trail among rolling juniper savanna. The visitor's center is located in the village of Los Cerrillos to the south of the park.
It is right across the road from the tipi. Great hiking and sightseeing old mines.
