Cafe Mochi has one of the best happy hours on Grand! 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday. Select rolls are half-off, $1 off beers and two-for-one select cocktails.
Really good sushi. They run a half price happy hour almost everyday and have really good cocktails. Get there early!
“Great Tai food, but they also have some Chinese options like fried rice (my personal favorite), crab rangoon and potstickers (Tom's favorite). ”
“Love the Yellow Curry & Pho from here. Stop in for a visit or call it in with Postmates. Surprisingly inexpensive.”
“My favorite place for a Chi Tea and pastry. And I heard, good coffee (not a coffee drinker). Very cozy and local feel. ”
“You may have heard of this place from it's feature on Diners, Drive-In and Dives with Guy Fiery. The smothered fries are amazing! ”
“Rooster is great for families. It gets wildly popular on weekends for brunch, but you can check into the wait list via Yelp. Known for creative crepes, but there's a nice selection of alternatives, such as the St. Louis slinger, biscuits and gravy and even a lunch menu. If you like a cocktail with your brunch, you'll be very pleased with the menu. For the savory fans, choose from several takes on the bloody mary - my favorite is the bloody bull, which is prepared with beef broth and a smoked salt & beef jerky rim. I like that you can choose a small or large, and the garnishes don't disappoint. Sweeter cocktails abound, such as my non-bloody favorite, the sunburnt white russian. ”
