It's very clean and bright. The animals have lots of space and look healthy and happy. I would recommend going on big cat day. They bring in giant inflatables that kids enjoy. Also you get to feed the deer's or other animals on certain day's

The 40-acre Magnetic Hill Zoo is the largest in Atlantic Canada, with nearly 600 indigenous and exotic animals in residence. The range is quite broad, from African lions and Amur tigers to the indigenous white-tailed deer and woodland caribou.

The Magnetic Hill Zoo’s 40 acre park provides a friendly environment for visitors to experience an appreciation for and connection to more than 70 indigenous and exotic species. The Animal Care team strive to provide excellent care and enrichment for the lives these animals. The Zoo is divided into four distinct areas: the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Discovery. The Magnetic Hill Zoo is a CAZA accredited Zoo. (Canada's Accredited Zoos & Aquariums) Throughout the year, the Zoo hosts special seasonal events and fundraisers. Educational programming is also available. Come be inspired to connect with and take action for nature!
