Tucked behind Charing Cross Road, this is a super spot for a leafy lunchtime break. Look out for frogs and sparrows, which are thriving thanks to an enthusiastic conservation initiative.

A little known local oasis, run by volunteers. Started out as a bombsite and rose from the ashes. Little peaceful gem.

This well maintained garden is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets around. Although a little hard to find, it is next to The Phoenix Theatre down St Giles Passage.
