Amsterdam Cheese Museum
Small museum featuring the history of cheese making & tastings, plus a store with many cheeses.
You can go in here and try all their different cheese for free! Nice if you buy something as well, but not obligatory as all the cheeses are self serve ;)
Dutch cheese has more than 600 years long tradition and the names of different sorts of cheese are often taken from different cities in the Netherlands – Gouda, Edam, and of course Old Amsterdam.
“If you like vintage clothes like me, go here, they have good quality vintage clothes. You will pass by on your way to the city center.”
“Ok, listed this as a "coffee shop" but in the Dutch sense of that word. Best coffee shop nearby for those who are interested in partaking of the local "weed" . LOL”
“Local pub, the whole neighborhood hangs out there around 4-6 PM. Nice bears, staff and owner!”
“One of the few places where they have an inside garden in the middle of the (busy) nine little streets. I love going here on warm days. ”
