Owned by country music artist Kix Brooks, winemaker Kip Summers, and Nashville businessman John Russell, Arrington Vineyards has truly become “Nashville’s Wine Country”. Our vineyards were originally established in 2003, when Kip and a fellow wine enthusiast and their families purchased a 25 acre…
During the spring and summer months we love to go lay out on the lawn with the family and listen to live music and sip wine.
Arrington Vineyards is just down the road from A&E Farm and is a great place for enjoying wine, listening, to live music, having a picnic, and so much more.
“Known for their biscuits. The lady that had the secret recipe, never gave it out, until she passed and left it for her legacy. A little drive but worth it. Get there early. Always packed ”
“Merridee's has amazing fresh baked breads, pastries, pies, sandwiches, soups and so much more. I have been going to Merridee's Breadbasket since it opened in 1984. Merridee, the original owner, has since passed away. The new owner's kept her original recipes; i.e., chicken salad, pimento cheese, great blue cheese dressing and much more. They also added many new items to the menu giving everyone lots of great items to choose from. ”
“Exceptional food and great mixed drinks. Live music on the second floor. $$$. Not cheap, but usually worth it!”
“Multiple food options, from sit down to fast dining to dessert (!!) along with local shops and antiques make this a perfect rainy day visit. Check out the Farmers Market on most Saturday mornings! ”
“Site info one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War - you’re sure to learn some things about this war that you didn’t know before! Carnton Plantation tour can be combined with Carter House. ”
