Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center
One of my favorite places to go with my son. Lots of trails and naturalists who work there that can help you i.d. many of the critters onsite.
Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center is a 317 acre property that was once a private estate. There is a driving loop, hiking trails, paddling on Lookout Creek, and a native animal exhibit (including the rare Red Wolf.)
Animals, trails, flowers and trees. The center also rents canoes to paddle on the creek boarding the preserve.
Local nature center offering hiking trails, paddling in Lookout Creek, and opportunities to view wildlife. Nice way to spend an afternoon!
Beautiful to walk or drive around and see native wildlife and plant-life. Awesome bamboo forest and treehouse. Can rent canoes to go down the creek.
“Great place to hike for a day trip! Be aware there are lots of stairs getting down to falls!!”
“This is a pretty cool experience where you get to drive around and listen to facts and history of Chattanooga and then the car doubles as a boat and drives into the water and you get to hear information that you drive around the river”
“This is the most desirable neighborhood in Chattanooga. It is close to everything. You will stay in a vintage house in an established family neighborhood. Many restaurants and activities are within walking distance. The is a free electric bus for getting around Chattanooga with a stop 1 mile away.”
“Take a ride on the famous incline railway to the top of Lookout Mountain. At the top, enjoy the gorgeous panoramic views of the Chattanooga Valley, learn about the area's civil war history and also its natural beauty. ”
“THE late night spot, if you need to recenter before going home. Open 24hrs. they have a selection of HUGE cakes, and a menu that is 50 pages. Its a perfect diner experience. ”
