Bourbon & Branch is a glimpse back to the 1920's, the era of Prohibition, when sale of alcohol was outlawed. You'll experience the ambiance of a speakeasy that operated illegally here from 1921-33. Then, our address was listed in the Telephone Directory as "The Ipswitch - A Beverage Parlor".
Really cool and unique bar. Need to make a reservation ahead. They will give you a secret code to get in. They only allow limited number of guests to maintain the speakeasy atmosphere. The interior design and cocktails are very impressive.
Speakeasy where you need a password to get in (make a reservation to get it). You cannot stand or talk to random people in this bar and you have to adhere to those rules. Get cozy with your friends while sipping on an excellent cocktail
AKA the Library AKA Wilson & Wilson. Reservations may be needed at this speakeasy.
“It’s the first bar that I worked for with Future Bars, so I have a sense of nostalgia for it. It’s an American cocktail bar that pays homage to many different traditional bar styles. It’s a warm and inviting place with high ceilings and a mezzanine bar upstairs. The cocktails by John Codd, Nick Rafnson, and their team are fun, unique, and creative! Make a reservation for one of the themed snugs—cozy, intimate booths decorated like bars from around the world. And check out the recently revamped barrel program cocktails; they’ve never been better.”
“Rye is a gem in the middle of the Tenderloin - even though the loin is rapidly becoming a hot spot for nightlife of this style”
“Delicious brunch, hands down! You will not be disappointed with this place. With over 10,000 reviews on Yelp and maintaining a solid 4 stars... However, avoid this place if you're hungry, during the weekend.. the line will be insane!”
“Best bar in SF, awesome atmosphere and live music on Wednesday and Sunday nights”
