Spring garden is a main hub for the busses. You can take one for almost everywhere in the city. I would recommend using google transit to find correct routes.
The spirit of Halifax located downtown. The most foot traffic of any street in Atlantic Canada. Lots of clothing stores for men, women and children. Over 200 retail shops, most independently owned. This is a fun place to shop or just to come and hang out. Make sure you also visit the amazing new…
transit stop 8332 is on building side of street and 8328 is across the street. Across the street is for down town and building side is where you would get off. MonTransit is the name of the app that seems to work well. 2.50 exact change required for bus
Also our newest most ‘modern flare’- public library. Great little cafe located on top floor with inside and outside roof top views. Breathtaking!!
“This historic fortress is located in the middle of the city overlooking the Halifax harbour! Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance!”
“Great place to walk around and sight-see. Walk the water's edge or follow the trails to the forested interior and view some of the remaining artillery batteries on the property. This is a large park, approximately 75 hectares, and a good amount of parking. In the summer, Shakespeare by the Sea is held in the park, which is a live outdoor theater production.”
“There are great bars, restaurants, and cafes particularly north of Almond Street and north of North Street.”
“Exclusive shopping located in one central location. Recently named one of the best malls in the country. Over 170 stores and services. Approximately 15 minute drive into the city.”
