There’s a reason that Hog & Hominy is on damn near every “best of” list, and its brunch is no exception. You can get Porcellino’s bacon in more than three forms, shrimp and grits, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, home fries, and favorites like the John T Burger and poutine fries. Drink specials are…

“If you don’t know what Gibson’s is, go grab one in the morning while it is fresh. Alton Brown once described it as the perfect doughnut. It has a great chew, and the icing is great. It’s not earth shattering, but it’s a great doughnut. If you’re out late, Gibson’s is also open 24hours. ****see the post about Gus’ chicken****”
“There are two locations: downtown and East Memphis next to Gibson’s. The chicken has a little spice to it, so if you have a sensitive palate, you might want to skip. *** this might sound crazy. Go to Gibson’s, grab a glazed doughnut in a paper bag. Bring it to Gus’. Put a piece of fresh fried chicken in the bag. Shake. Let the icing melt a few minutes. You now have a spicy piece of chicken with some sweetness. You also have a warm sweet doughnut with some kick.***”
“Wiseacre Brewing is a Binghampton hot spot for craft beer-loving locals. The ten taps pour exclusively Wiseacre brews, but the variety at hand is enough to satisfy any grain/hop/yeast-craving palate. The award-winning Tiny Bomb Pilsner and crisp, hop-heavy Ananda are draft staples (due to popular demand), and the remaining taps rotate through seasonal and one-off labels. Taste your way through Wiseacre's repertoire at communal tables inside or on the patio out back, and maybe treat yourself to a snack from the roster of food trucks, while you're at it. On your way out, be sure to fill a growler with your favorite draft of the day, or purchase cans of past favorites, rare selections, and more”
“Upscale Italian fare with a local southern twist. Owned by Andy Ticer & Michael Hudman, James Beard Award winning chefs. Hog & Hominy as well as Porcellino's, both across the street, are owned by them as well. ”
