A fancy Italian department store on the lower floors of the ABA building, selling fashion, luxury home appliances, children’s toys and other nice things. There’s also a currency exchange kiosk on the ground floor.
Shopping mall + some very nice bars and restaurants. shops are not the cheapest though.
They have a nice cafe and restaurant on the 21st floor offering amazing views of Tirana!
“Even though its menu offers many other delicious options, this restaurant has to be singled out for the top-notch seafood selections. Its location next to the Twin Towers at the very center of Tirana makes it one of the city’s hottest spots.”
“The National Archaeological Museum (Albanian: Muzeu Arkeologjik Kombëtar) is the national archaeological museum in Tirana, Albania opened in 1 November 1948. It was the first museum founded after the second World War in the country. It is located on the east of the Mother Teresa Square near the University of Tirana.”
“Up the hill on the right on the old road to Elbasan and more or less within walking distance of the city centre, this is upmarket Albanian dining at its best. The décor is mountain chic, with the waiters wandering around in traditional costumes ferrying plates and bowls piled high with classic local cuisine to die for. Complete with a sloped garden populated by a menagerie of animals the kids will love, if you can’t find the energy to visit for the single attraction, it’s worth mentioning that the recommended Martyrs’ Cemetery is a little bit further up the hill.”
“Meant to be the Dictator's mausoleum, designed by his daughter after his death. It was never used because of the fall of communism. ”
