Navarro Vineyards & Winery
Great, laid back family-friendly winery with European-style whites. Perfect for picnics and letting kids run around.
My favorite Anderson Valley winery. A beautiful drive along Highway 128 (at the Navarro River) through redwood forest. A nice place for a picnic with views of the vineyard and hills beyond. (You can't get Navarro wine in a store, so pick up a bottle or two!)
Nice to sit out at the picnic table with a wonderful view. Relaxing and lovely wine selection.
“Our favorite place! Wine, cheese and other food pairings, with the cutest goats and lovely outdoor tables where you can take in the view while you sip their own wine and and snack on one of their outstanding cheese boards. ”
“Perfect lunchtime place in between wine tastings. Make sure to stop by Smith Story and Drew while you are there.”
“One of oldest wineries in Anderson Valley. We offer complimentary wine to guests from Husch.”
Grocery or Supermarket
“Almost a full grocery store with many options to choose from and a great deli / meat counter in the back for sandwiches, fresh fish and cuts of meat.”
“a downhome (read: informal) local family restaurant. Good casual fare, local wines and beers, and a real local feel. Try it out any night, but make sure to try Monday nights for “Libby’s night” (Libby’s was a well known Mexican restaurant in the neighboring town of Philo that closed but Libby still shows up here on Monday nights to cook for the town.) ”
