Catch a game on TV and a bite to eat. Bar food and some of local New Orleans’ favorite dishes like po’boys, red beans and rice, and jambalaya.
Love this spot. Potato skins, a Dry Dock burger and good people. Check out the best view of downtown from this location. You can see the French Quarter and DT NOLA from across the river. Worth the drive over the bridge or take the ferry from the end of Canal Street downtown for $1.50
Laid-back bar & eatery with sandwiches & seafood plus beers, cocktails & drink specials.

“Owner is awesome, food and coffee are amazing, and you can purchase local art to take home! Best breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot in the neighborhood!”
“Historic bar with a stage for live music performances most days a week. Well-priced drinks and frequent movie and television filming here...check out where movies like “Ray” and television shows like NCIS New Orleans are filmed.”
“Take the ferry over to Algiers Point and wander around the self-proclaimed second-oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. When you get thirsty, stop in Crown & Anchor to wet your whistle.”
“Not a paddlewheeler, but a fun and different way to view the Mighty Mississippi River. Ride across to Algiers Point and have a snack or drink at the Dry Dock Cafe. Walk around historic Algiers Point. Get back on the ferry and return to the French Quarter. Excellent people-watching aboard the ferry. ”
“This pop up kitchen on Vallette is only open Thursdays - Sundays from 5 until he runs out of food. And the food is incredible, so he runs out! The crab cakes, omg. Make sure you stop in, you won't regret it. ”
