This isn’t my first choice for peaches— I prefer Saunders’, but it’s more centrally located for visitors, especially as a stop on your way back to DC or RIC. It’s more of a production than the Nelson locations, but people still really enjoy it! They offer Pick Your Own strawberries seasonally, too.
Owned by the same family as Carter Mountain Orchard but less crowded. They have strawberries and peaches in the summer...don't forget to try their homemade strawberry or peach ice cream!! They also have wine and cider for sale and a shop with homemade goodies.

“Public 18 hole champion golf course in close by Crozet. Gorgeous views with adjacent restaurant. Weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner.”
“Bar & restaurant with rooftop deck that has breathtaking mountain views. Great for brunch or late night! Excellent food & drinks, but can be pricey. ”
“Terrific local smoked meats (they started as a hugely popular smoked ribs and pulled pork food cart in Charlottesville on the Downtown Mall, then moved to Crozet to open a full restaurant). Terrific pulled pork and chicken... also try the baby back ribs or the brisket!”
“Great pizza and draft beer list. Friendly service and lots of TV's to catch a game. It's a popular place so on a Friday/Saturday night you might want to have a back up in mind or just hang out at the bar while you wait. There's parking behind the building and some folks park across the street at the Tourism building and walk over too. Quick 10 minute drive.”
