Mount Sanitas Trailhead
Mt. Sanitas Valley trail is a popular hike. It is not too strenuous or long.
Great views at the top! Be aware this is a moderately challenging trail. You are walking uphill the entire way up, but it's definitely worth the beauty.
A quick 90 minute hike up, around, and down Sanitas. You will see lots of people people and dogs on this walk. All friendly. You will also see people rock climbing. A great work out with not a lot of fuss. Skip the gym for the day!
This is a moderate hike, consistent uphill (excellent views), about 2 hrs round trip, if you’re not accustomed to the altitude, plan for many stops and bring extra water. This is a popular trail and a clear route. Dogs are welcome on leash. Parking is easy, along the road, just after the hospital,…
“This venue hosts a myriad of artists and events. Always worth a look on their calendar to see who or what is playing.”
“A Boulder institution. Been here since the 80's. Excellent coffee and a nice small bookstore attached. A great place to hangout with Boulders history. ”
“An amazing independent book store with each nook and cranny filled with books and gifts and helpful staff. To many visitors, a visit to Boulder is not complete without a trip to The Boulder Book Store.”
“My favorite breakfast place in town. Typically they have a significant wait, so I like to get my name in and walk around the Pearl Street Mall. This is a good option if you are not in a rush. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict, but it is all delicious.”
“Quirky spot focused on nutrition & well-being through area-sourced fare & housemade drafts. They have a 100% gluten free kitchen. One of my favorite dishes is the Pan Seared Fresh Wild Salmon. It comes with wild rice, seared local mushrooms, arugula and tomato with dill and lemon vinaigrette . Top it off with an award winning gluten free beer called Ahimsa Gluten Free Ale. Perfecto!”
