A great day out with the kids. The museum is really well done and open most days. Good option for a rainy day!

At Espéraza Dinosaur Museum, not only will you get to know these prehistoric giants, but you can even join an excavation workshop and pretend you’re a palaeontologist. Or you can spend a day with the family discovering the museum’s secret nooks and crannies, entering the laboratories and making your own footprint casts … fascinating!

Dinosauria is the first dinosaur museum in Europe. A super day out for the whole family. Lots of dinosaur trivia, activities and history - many fossils, including Eva, an Ampelosaurus specimen, the most complete dinosaur skeleton ever found in France, were found close to the museum in Esperaza. There's a lovely creperie next door for bite to eat before or after.
