Great Italian food and Wood-fired Pizza!!!
Just general all-around great Italian food and nice ambience. A local favorite.
A local favorite. Great pizza, but other items on the menu as well. Watch the pizza makers whirl the pizza dough around as they fill your order. Open year round.
Food is above average and reasonably priced. I like the energetic open atmosphere and be sure to read or ask about the history of the building. Its amazing what a little paint and delicious food can do.
We love this place. The pizza is famous. They dont take reservations so you may have to wait in line, unless you go before the dinner rush at 7pm.
Best and cheapest slice in town! Their pizza is wood-fired and thin crust, though they also offer a thicker crust if you're ordering a whole pizza. They also have delicious fresh and local options. The Caesar is super garlicky as is their fresh bread. There's a bar or you can have a sit-down meal,…
“Usually three fresh soups to choose from, lots of baked items both sweet and savory. This is not just a tourist destinations, this is where us locals like to eat and meet! ”
“One of Alaska’s best museums, the Pratt features excellent exhibits describing Homer’s natural and human histories.”
“True Gourmet food at its finest! If you are not on a strict budget and desire a scrumptious dinner originating from any of the food groups, be sure to dine at one of Homer's finest "higher end" dining rooms.”
“Bishop's Beach was the local access to Anchor Point from Homer, before the Sterling Highway connected the two communities. It is now a great place for picnics, walking your dog (generally an off-leash location; if your dog is too aggressive, keep him or her on leash, please), beach combing, or just enjoying the sound of wind and waves. Always be prepared for cooler temperatures, even in summer, to fully enjoy your stroll on the beach. Generally the water is too cold for swimming.”
