Upon entering the bakery, you'll notice the magical sweet smell of caramelized sugar. There's no such thing as a bad choice at b. patisserie, but my favorite is their signature kouign amann, which resembles an airy croissant except it's lightly sweet, crispy outside, and soft with a sugary center inside. One isn't enough, a full box is necessary. To avoid a long line, the best times to visit are Wednesdays and Fridays, 2pm to 3pm. Tip: Look out for their bags of kouign amann near the cash register; it goes great with a cup of coffee or with a scoop of ice cream.
Delicious bakery with creative and unique pastries. The only place to find a cronut in SF! Try the furikake salmon croissant.
Best croissant in town. Parisian & Viennese-style pastries, sandwiches & coffee served in modern space with an open kitchen. The owner used to be the pastry chef of Michelin star restaurant French Laundry. The almond chocolate croissant and Kouign amann
“Great sustainable Sushi bar that also has amazing ramen. The happy hour menu (get there before 7pm) is a bargain. ”
“We find our selves here at least twice a month when we tire of veggie fare and NEED a burger. Burgers are what they do - bison, beef, turkey, veggie - many different ways. The haystack is a must - onion, zucchini, sweet potato and potato fries. The salads and sides are ever-changing and always fantastic. Beer and wine. The decor is modern rustic. Order at the counter and find a seat. At busiest times you may have to wait just a few minutes for a table, but they will time your food to arrive hot. ”
“Great for Breakfast that is walking distance. Usually not a long line and the food is pretty good. My favorite breakfast spot is "Eat's" but its a farther walk or short bus/uber. ”
“This pub's a great place to watch a game or hang out with friends. The. tater. tots. are. everything.”
