Place to eat
This has the best coffee in Mexico City I've ever tried in 15 years and has been featured in places like New York Times and other publications as a "must see" for coffee lovers.
“So small you’ll blink and miss it, but man, is their coffee good! I personally love this cafe, as they let you sit there for hours typing away undisturbed (you can juice up your gear here as well, as there are outlets aplenty), whilst they spoil you with their tasty menu and a gentle smile (everything is made on the premises). A favourite is their ultra decadent chocolate cake, or potato and zucchini hash with smoked salmon and yoghurt dressing- Yum!”
“Laundromat, self service (bring soap), or let the lady do it for you. It's a bit more pricy then the other one here, but a block closer. Cash only. Make sure to get a break down of your price.”
“Gastronomy from Yucatán is just amazing and Xel-Ha Bar is a must if you want to try it out and have some drinks in a cantina kind of feel.”
“Located just 2 blocks from Casa Gubidxa, this taqueria is famous in La Condesa for its delicious beef and pork tacos (arrachera y carnitas)...With over 50 years in the same location, it is packed midday every day and closes promptly by around 4pm. Get there early, as they run out of their prime cuts of meat by early afternoon!”
“If you love seafood, this fish taco spot is just 2 blocks from Casa Gubidxa! Although the menu is limited to shrimp, marlin, and fried fish, it is all delicious. With a buffet-style assortment of salsas and toppings, the tacos are delicious. Be aware however, lines often form outside and the place shuts down by around 4-5pm every day!”
