Late-night frivolity and rock ‘n’ roll at its finest. They serve a great margherita by the slice and a good showing of craft beer. It looks Italian from the front, with red-and-white checked tables, but everything else screams rock ‘n’ roll, from classic to metal, which they often do live. Go late, but before the 1:30 am lockouts so you get in. Out the back, through the fire escape, is another little secret bar you can hang out at. Most general punters wouldn’t know it’s there. You’d think it was the bathroom.
Loud live music most nights of the week, this place is always happening. Cheap slices of pizza, or order a whole pie, the front half of the place is a pizzeria, with big booths for seating. Walk to the back of the bar and you'll find the major beer taps and a stage. If you keep walking all the way…
Pizza by the slice with craft beers on tap and Rock & Roll Live and DJ 7 days a week- my go to
Late night, pizza place and old school rock bar. Doesn't get going til after 11pm. Dive bar, late night pizzas and out the back, at the far end, go through the door, down the stairs and into a tiny speak easy bar for some peace and quiet
An underground hidden gem! Best pizza you will ever eat in Sydney! With delicious fresh apple juice & vodka, craft beer, cider and pinball machines! Rock ‘n’ roll hotspot.
“Whiskey Bar. This is the kind of whisky collection that would make a strong man weak at the knees. The menu board starts at the ceiling and the three-column list eventually sneaks down under the counter and out of sight. Every Islay, Speyside, Highlands, Lowlands and Campbelltown distillery you can’t pronounce – and the small collection you’re confident with – is there, including rare bottlings and unusual releases. What room is left goes to Japanese and Australian spirits, and blends. ”
“Classy 1920s-themed cocktail bar in a vaulted brick basement with dapper staff and live music. ”
“Great Local! On weeknights you'll have buy one get one free night and Schnitzel night just to name a few. Great value for money if you're after decent pub meal. ”
“Packed on a weekend, this is a great spot for a good time. Themed after American western style saloons, you can get pickle backs and boilermakers to get your evening started. Shelled peanuts are passed around by the basketful. Some nights there's live country/folk music and dancing.”
