“If you are here in the summer, check their schedule and go first thing in the morning to catch the animals up and about. There are plenty of indoor spaces but, the meandering pathways to view the desert animals...through this lush desert are not to be missed. At times, they have a night opening in the summer...their programming changes but, it is always planned well and very interesting.”
“If you’re new to the Sonoran desert, this National Park is definitely worth the visit. The park is actually split into two areas at different ends of the city. If you’re looking for some quick sightseeing and pictures, the west part is recommended. Here the cacti forest is denser and the park more mountainous. If you’re looking to do some hiking or backpacking, the east side is recommended as it has many more trails.”
“Much smaller than big city botanical gardens but lovely to stroll through. Another nice way to get outside. ”

“Our very own wild west amusements town, I haven't been out there for a good long while, but used to be a lot of great fun with stunt shows, gun slinging, panning for gold, old time photos, saloon show, fake western town, where many films are shot. ”
