If you are planning on going to Multnomah Falls, go here first. Between Vista House and Pittock Mansion, you'll have all the views of Oregon (and Washington!) that you could ever dream of.
Roughly a 45 minute drive from us. If you are going to visit Multinomah falls or be around the Columbia river gorge area just east of Portland this is the best spot to check out the view it is beautiful on clear days.

Vista House is a museum at Crown Point in Multnomah County, Oregon, that also serves as a memorial to Oregon pioneers and as a comfort station for travelers on the Historic Columbia River Highway.
The drive there is beautiful and when you arrive, you will find the view is unmatched. Come prepared for some wind so a scarf or hair tie may come in handy.
