Foundry on Elm is an American bistro, offering seasonal tavern fare and creative craft cocktails. A black and white checkered floor, red leather banquettes, and a marble bar outfit the trendy, modern bistro.
Also mainly Irish bartenders, this bar has one of the best and most reasonable beer and food selections in the area.
This is a hopping place for dinner and drinks, in the summer it has a large open window that looks out to the street you can sit by. This is in Davis Square so it is full of Tufts students. In fact if you just go to Davis Square you can find all sorts of restaurants, so this is only one.
Never disappoints, the bartender will take care of you no matter what type of drink you are into. They also have great selection of beers on tap.
Modern hot spot for Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, craft cocktails & wines. A Somerville hot spot, Foundry on Elm serves a rare mix of French fare and pub food that meld to create a perfect meal.
“My new found gem. Delicious family-style and casual Tibetan food. You can't go wrong with the momos (dumplings) or the Shapta (stir-fried sliced tender beef with scallions). Great vegetarian options as well. Kid friendly.”
“There are plenty of great burgers in Boston, but this is my favorite. They're big, juicy, and the outdoor seating and live entertainment in Davis Square turn this into a full experience. They have amazing desserts too, but I would recommend the ice cream at J.P. Licks next door to complete the night.”
“Forgot something? CVS is at your call within walking distance. See the other CVS for a 24 hour version in Porter Square.”
“Modern bar with patio draws a crowd with its big list of draft beers & whiskeys, plus American fare.”
“Friendly staff, delicious sweet or savory Algerian style stuffed crepes served all day, great coffee. You'll be a regular in no time. Free Wifi is now limited to weekdays, since the weekends are busy and they want to accommodate as many patrons as possible. ”
