The Dominion Arboretum is located at the Central Experimental Farm of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Originally begun in 1889 the Arboretum covers about 26 hectares of rolling land between Prince of Wales Drive, Dow's Lake and the Rideau Canal.
This is simply beautiful. Spring, summer or fall it really doesn't matter. This park is full of tress that have been cared for and shared with you.
It displays a wide range of well-established trees and shrubs with the intention of evaluating their hardiness, including 1,700 different species and varieties.
“A beautiful lake accessible by bike path from our location. Sit and enjoy the water, rent canoes or paddle boards for some adventure, or relax on a patio with a drink and some great food. The perfect summer spot!”
