The Hollywood district was named for this historic non-profit theater. Drink beer or wine and eat pizza while you watch first run films, special showings, and film festivals.
Beautifully restored classic theater. Pizza served inside. Seeing a movie on a rainy night in a classic Portland location? YES!
Beautiful neighborhood movie house of generations past...newly renovated with a mix of new and classic films.
“This little theater has a single screen, first run movies, cheap popcorn, and great ticket prices. A neighborhood favorite.”
“Another movie theater where you can have a beer or wine and grab a slice for dinner. Popcorn, candy and tea available too! Located in another great little pocket of bars, restaurants and shops. Fifty Licks ice cream just across the street. ”
“Great coffee place serving locally roasted beans. They have pastries too with GF options.”
“Laurelwood is our go-to restaurant with our kids. The food and beer are good, there’s a full bar, and the kids' play area keeps them busy so we can actually enjoy a meal. And there’s also a rooftop deck! Located about 2.5 miles south in the Hollywood District.”
“OK... Their buffalo sauce is off the hook. I recommend the raspberry-habanero sauce. Their wings are typically on the small size and do seem to break easily, but it's just a sauce vessel. If you're here in the summer, I'd recommend buying a jar of the sauce, going to New Seasons for some chicken, then fire up the grill in the back.”
