Paraga is on the mountain side of the island. If you chooce to enjoy meat and explore what else Rhodes has to offer i d suggest to pass by this great Restaurant distinct for its exceptional taste. (combine a trip to the Butterflies Valey and make a stop for lunch there)

You can find it in the entrance of the village ''Apollona'' and it will serve you dishes full of authentic local flavors! Inside the kitchen, you will find 3 wooden ovens which can reassure you that you will taste something really special. Recommended dishes are: chick-pea balls (pittaroudia), vine leaves stuffed with rice (giaprakia), snail stew (karavoloi stifado), local beans with red sauce (loppia), beef stew and of course the lamp. It stays open all year long!
