At the edge of the castle park of Loppem, near the Steenbrugsestraat, is one of the few 'real' mazes of Belgium. The maze was designed in 1873 by the young Albert and Ernest van Caloen and is more than 20 acres in size. Dozens of corridors with a total of one and a half kilometers of green and red hornbeam lead to a central tree. The maze is the ideal location for a family trip. Open from April till October from 14:00 - 18:00
