NOT a franchise english pub. This is the real deal. Great cask ales, classic and comforting english foods, a real life fire place, old stone walls. Easily the coziest pub or bar in town.
Good food at moderate prices, craft beer, and a cozy atmosphere. Depending on time of year and your mood, eat upstairs, outside, or in the cellar.
“Boneheads has the best BBQ brisket north of Texas, pure and simple! The sausage is more of a Kansas City style, but not bad. I recommend getting a combo plate, but you can also ask for a pound of brisket and a link of sausage to take home. Also grab a side each of potato salad and coleslaw, and don't forget the sauces! The above will set you back about $50 but will be well worth it. ”
“Cafe Chianti has been a Halifax staple for fine Italian food for over two decades. Enjoy your favourites of Europe in a warm old-world atmosphere.”
“This is a gift shop that sells goods from local artisans and companies - pottery, pewter, jewelrey, books, etc. ”
“High end. Small intimate restaurant in a boutique hotel. Regularly one of the top rated in Halifax.”
“Good for the essential items you'll need if staying longer than a few nights (grocery type food items). If you happen to catch this store on a BOGO then you're lovin life ;)”
