A very famous hot dog booth where former president Bill Clinton got an Icelandic hot dog. They are the best in town. I recommend having a hot dog with everything, that is chopped onion, fried onion, mustard, ketchup and "remolaði" which is a mayonnaise based sauce with relish.
Bæjarins beztu (English: Best hot dog in town), is a popular snack. In 2006, British newspaper Guardian selected them as the best hot dog stand in Europe.
The best hot dogs you can have in Reykjavík, and you need to have one hot dog with everything that's the best.
Our best hot dogs. Bill Clinton had one, with mustard only, right before the heart attack.
You haven't had a taste of Iceland until you try these. Some say best hot dogs in the wolrd! The line might be long but it goes fast. A small shed and you eat outside. Our favorite is with fried onions, ketchup and mustard.
Most famous hot dog stand in Iceland. Many famous people have stopped by there for a one or two hot dogs. Bill Clinton was one of them..
“Recommended. Great for take-away, and sit in, when you're up for a burger. ”
“This is the most popular restaurant in downtown Reykjavík.! And one of the best. ”
“The local swimming pool. Swimming pools are a big part of Icelandic culture. We love to go hang out and chat in the hot tubs and relax in the steam baths and sauna. Take your own swimsuits and bath towels and be prepared to shower before and after in a shared locker room. This one is my personal favorite due to the circular steam room and variety of temperatures in the hot tubs. After you can grab a burger at Hagavagninn, a coffee at Kaffihús vesturbæjar, get one of the best cinnamon buns in town at Brauð og co. or go to Ísbúð Vesturbæjar for an ice cream. Icelanders are also crazy for their ice cream and the swimming pool / ice cream combo is popular all year round!”
“Once upon a time... this was a secret.. but it got out. Lobster soup like no other.”
