The Isthmus of Tehuantepec has its own take on Oaxacan cuisine based on ingredients like tropical fruits and seafood, with many dishes cooked in banana leaves. Festive Zandunga brings those flavors to Oaxaca and the M$395 botana (a sampler of dishes which easily serves two) is perfect for whiling away a couple of hours with some of its many mezcals.
